The SL 680 has a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which generates 585hp of power and 800Nm of torque. This engine is equipped with a 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which makes the car reach 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. The performance and power of this engine make the SL 680 an extremely impressive sports roadster.

Mercedes has not officially revealed the price of the SL 680, but it will be more expensive than the Mercedes-AMG SL 55, which is currently priced at ₹2.44 crore (ex-showroom) in India. It remains to be seen whether the SL 680 will be available in India or not. Deliveries in Europe will begin in 2025 and will be expanded to other markets later.
