OnePlus Ace 6T Set to Launch With Massive Battery and Superfast Charging

A new wave is about to shake the smartphone industry. OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of its powerful upcoming device — the OnePlus Ace 6T — for December 3, 2025, in China. The smartphone will debut as the world’s first device powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, setting a new standard in performance. The company has shared teasers on Weibo showcasing its massive 8,300mAh “Glacier Battery” and 100W SuperVOOC fast charging — features that will especially interest gamers and heavy smartphone users.
The launch won’t be limited to the Chinese market. Globally, the device will debut as the OnePlus 15R, with the official global launch scheduled for December 17, 2025. It is expected to make a strong impact as an affordable flagship device in markets including India. Pre-bookings have already started in China through platforms like JD.com and Tmall, with early buyers receiving exclusive gifts.
Global Launch Details
In China, the OnePlus Ace 6T will be officially unveiled on December 3 at 7 PM Beijing time. OnePlus China President Li Jie Li has confirmed through Weibo that this will be the first-ever device to ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Sales in China may begin during the first or second week of December.
The global launch is set for December 17, where OnePlus is also expected to reveal India-specific availability and pricing. The OnePlus 15R will be unveiled alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet. The expected price range for India is between ₹42,000 and ₹46,000.
So far, the Ace 6T has not launched outside China, but global variants are expected to feature almost identical specifications. Markets including Europe, the US and the UK could receive the device by Q1 2026. OnePlus seems to be continuing its strategy of delivering premium features at a competitive price, similar to its previous R-series models.
Battery and Performance
The OnePlus Ace 6T features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor built on 3nm architecture and paired with the Adreno 840 GPU. On the AnTuTu 11 benchmark, the device is expected to hit scores up to 3.56 million—a clear indication of its flagship-level processing power. The phone will offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB internal storage.
It sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1272 pixels), 165Hz refresh rate and ultra-thin bezels. The Chinese variant will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, while the global model will come with OxygenOS 16.
The headline feature is its massive 8,300mAh “Glacier Battery,” one of the largest in the flagship segment, promising extended usage even under heavy performance load. It also supports 100W wired fast charging. The design includes a metal frame, flat edges, silk glass and a fibre-glass finish. OnePlus has removed the traditional alert slider and replaced it with a new multifunction shortcut key. The device features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a balanced 50:50 weight distribution, optimised for landscape gaming.
Camera and Design
While the full camera specifications haven’t been officially revealed, a China Telecom certification confirms a 50MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultrawide lens and a 16MP front-facing camera. The company claims the device will cater to photography and videography users, possibly offering features like 8K video recording and 4K at 120fps. The dual camera bump has a compact design with a metal finish and reduced protrusion.
The OnePlus Ace 6T will be available in Flash Black, Phantom Green and Electric Purple colour options. The Electric Purple version features a special fibre-glass-based material that glows under light. The phone also includes a micro-arc metal frame for improved grip, and is expected to ship with IP68/69 certification for water and dust resistance. For gaming, it will include the Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel supporting 165fps gameplay and native 1.5K @120fps rendering.
Expected Global Pricing
In China, the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant could be priced between CNY 2,999 and 3,299 (approx. ₹35,000 to ₹39,000). In India, the OnePlus 15R may cost between ₹42,000 and ₹46,000, slightly higher than its predecessor OnePlus 13R (₹42,999). Expected pricing for other markets includes $549–$599 in the US, €599–€649 in Europe and £529–£579 in the UK. Final pricing will be confirmed during the official launch.
