Edifier has officially launched its new Edifier Airpulse A60 desktop Hi-Fi Bluetooth speaker in China on 29 November 2025. This high-fidelity desktop speaker is designed for a premium audio experience and is currently available only in the Chinese market. However, Edifier has not yet announced any official launch date or pre-order details for India, the US, Europe, or other international markets. Therefore, the global pricing and availability are still uncertain, though possible pricing can be estimated based on the China launch.

China Launch and Pricing

In China, the Edifier Airpulse A60 Walnut Wood variant is priced at approximately ¥1,980 (around ₹25,000), while the Matte White variant costs slightly more at approximately ¥2,280 (around ₹28,700). The speakers are currently listed on Edifier’s official Chinese website and JD.com. The sale is limited to China for now. The company has designed this speaker specifically for bookshelf and desktop setups, making it suitable for premium studio use or a refined home listening environment.

Design and Key Features

The Edifier Airpulse A60 features a compact desktop/bookshelf form factor with an 18mm MDF cabinet reinforced with acoustic foam for vibration control and cleaner sound output. The speaker is available in two colour options: Walnut Wood finish, offering a premium classic aesthetic, and Matte White for a modern setup.

For audio performance, the speaker includes a high-frequency tweeter supporting up to 40kHz, suitable for high-resolution sound. It also features a 3.5-inch aluminium mid-bass driver with a 30mm voice coil and cast-aluminium frame, ensuring low distortion and precise sound delivery. Together, this hardware provides clean treble response and strong mid-bass output.

Audio Amplification and Processing

Edifier has equipped the Airpulse A60 with Texas Instruments’ TAS5754M Class-D amplifier, which supports 192kHz digital input and maintains low distortion even at high volume. The speaker also includes dual TI DSP chips to balance loudness, adjust tonal tuning, and manage dynamic sound processing — delivering a studio-like, near-field monitoring experience. A Savitech USB controller is provided for high-resolution audio playback over USB.

Connectivity Options

The speaker offers AUX, USB, and optical input support, allowing easy pairing with PCs, laptops, TVs, and DACs. For wireless audio, it features Bluetooth 5.1 with a Qualcomm chipset and support for aptX and aptX HD codecs. This ensures low-latency, high-quality wireless playback comparable to wired audio performance.

Global Launch Awaited

As of now, the Edifier Airpulse A60 remains exclusive to the Chinese market, with no official details regarding international release or pre-orders. The model is not yet listed on Edifier’s global or regional websites for the US or Europe, indicating that a worldwide rollout may take more time. Interested international customers can import the product from China, but official pricing and regional availability will only be confirmed once Edifier announces global plans.

Through the Airpulse A60, Edifier has introduced a premium, performance-focused desktop audio solution tailored for audiophiles and creative professionals who prioritise clean, detailed, high-resolution sound. Enthusiasts in India and other countries will now have to wait for the company’s next announcements before adding this desktop speaker to their audio setup.
