Education and career start of Kevin Parekh
Kevan Parekh did his early education in engineering and then did an MBA. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1993 and then completed his MBA degree in 1999 from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. After his education, Parekh started his career with General Motors in 2004, where he played a key role in trade development. Subsequently, he worked at GM Motors for five years and then served at Thomson Reuters for four years.

Kevan Parekh has worked at Apple for 11 years and three months, where he was recently promoted to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). His current responsibilities include reporting directly to CEO Tim Cook on financial and sales matters. Parekh does not have any social media accounts, but his professional achievements and hard work have qualified him for this new role.
Challenges ahead
The biggest challenge for Kevan Parekh as CFO (Apple CFO) at Apple will be to successfully oversee the major events of the company. Apple’s mega launch event is going to be held on 9 September 2024, in which many new products including iPhone 16 will be launched. Also, the company’s biggest software upgrade is also expected in this event, which may include artificial intelligence features.
