Google Meet has introduced a new artificial intelligence (AI) feature to make its meetings even more seamless and effective. The name of this feature is ‘Tech Notes for Me Google Meet’, which provides the facility to automatically note important points during the meeting.

This feature called ‘Tech Notes for Me Google Meet’ has been made available to Google’s workspace users and aims to simplify the traditional process of noting important points during the meeting. With the help of this feature, users can fully focus on the discussion during the meeting, without worrying about taking notes.

1. Automatic Notes: The ‘Tech Notes for Me Google Meet’ feature captures and summarizes important points of the dialogue during the meeting. It uses the capabilities of Gemini AI, allowing notes to be prepared in an organized and dedicated manner.
2. Integration into Google Docs: After the meeting, the notes prepared will be compiled into a Google Docs file. This will allow all team members to easily access and review the notes.
3. Linking to calendar events: The notes will be linked to Google Calendar events, making it easy to find any points after the meeting.

How to use Google Meet AI

• Start a meeting: Create or join a meeting on Google Meet.
• Click on Take Notes with Gemini: Click on the ‘Take Notes with Gemini’ option in the top-right corner of the screen.
• Receive notification: All participants in the meeting will be notified that Gemini is taking notes.
• Review of notes: After the meeting is over, review the notes prepared and make amendments as needed.

Availability of Google Meet AI feature

This feature was announced in September last year and was in beta version till now. Google recently announced its availability, and it has been rolled out to select Workspace users starting August 27. It may take around 15 days to reach all users.

With this new feature, Google Meet has taken a significant step towards making meetings even more productive and convenient.
