Share Market Today: Today, on August 30, the Indian stock market has touched a new high. Both the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) Sensex and the NSE (National Stock Exchange) Nifty have recorded new all-time highs. This is the 12th consecutive day when both these major indices have seen a rise.

Today’s situation

Stock Market Today: At the end of trading, the Sensex closed at 82,365.77 with a gain of 231.16 points or 0.28 per cent. During the day’s trading, the Sensex touched a new high of 82,637.03 points. The Nifty also closed at 25,235.90 with a gain of 83.95 points or 0.33 per cent and set a new record of 25,268.35 during the day’s trading.

Investors’ wealth in BSE increased by about Rs 2 lakh crore in a single day. The total market capitalization of companies listed on BSE reached Rs 464.47 lakh crore today, from Rs 462.56 lakh crore on the previous trading day. Thus, the wealth of BSE investors has increased by about Rs 1.91 lakh crore.
