Audi Q8: Audi India has launched its flagship SUV model, the Q8 facelift in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.17 crore. The updated Q8 features minor cosmetic changes and new features, while the engine and mechanical setup remain the same.
New design and features
Audi Q8 new design and features: The major changes in the facelifted Q8 include new HD Matrix LED headlights that offer high beam with laser assist and configurable light signatures. The grille has been updated, with new octagonal apertures and ‘L’-shaped insets. The front bumper gets newly designed air intakes. At the rear, however, the design remains largely unchanged, with the addition of new digital OLED taillights that have four selectable light designs.
Premium feel in interiors
Premium feel in Audi Q8 interiors: Changes can also be seen in the interiors, which include new stitching patterns and colour schemes. The Q8 includes features like dual MMI touchscreens, four-zone climate control, head-up display, and heated, ventilated, and massaging seats. It also retains Bang & Olufsen’s Hi-Fi system. The new Q8 also gets an expanded app store and built-in third-party music apps like Spotify and Amazon Music. Driver assistance systems have also been updated.
Engine and Transmission
Audi Q8 Engine and Transmission: The Q8 facelift launched in India is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine that comes with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This engine generates 340hp of power and 500Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that transfers power to all four wheels.
