The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has recently launched a new and updated version of the BHIM app, BHIM 3.0. New Features of BHIM 3.0

- Spend Analytics Dashboard: A new Spend Analytics Dashboard has also been introduced in BHIM 3.0, which provides users with a complete analysis of their monthly expenses. This dashboard automatically categorizes transactions, allowing users to fully assess their expenses without any external tool and helps in budgeting.
- Language Support: BHIM 3.0 is now available in more than 15 Indian languages, making it even easier for users of different languages to make digital payments. Through this, people from every class and region can easily use the app, thereby widening the reach of digital payments.
- Improved internet connectivity: The BHIM 3.0 app can now work seamlessly even in areas with low or unstable internet connectivity. This means that users will not face any problem in making transactions, no matter what the network connectivity is.
- Security and protocol: The security of the app has been further strengthened with the new update. Apart from this, the Action Needed Assistant feature reminds users of pending bills, prompts for UPI Lite activation and also alerts when the balance is low.
New features for merchants
Now a new feature has also been added to BHIM 3.0 for merchants, called BHIM Vega. It is an integrated in-app payment method that provides merchants with the facility of instant transactions without switching between platforms. Through this, merchants will not face any interruption in transactions, and it will be even more convenient for customers to make payments.
