BYD Seal: BYD has introduced a significant update to its electric sedan Seal, making the model even more attractive and technologically advanced. Under this new update, the Seal has received a new 800V architecture, fast charging feature, new technology, and attractive design changes.
BYD Seal’s New Technology and Fast Charging
The BYD Seal is now available with a cutting-edge 800V architecture, which doubles the charging speed compared to the previous 400V system. Under this new architecture, it takes only 25 minutes to charge the battery from 10 to 80 per cent, providing a comfortable and convenient charging experience during long journeys. In addition, new LiDAR technology has been added to the Seal, which significantly improves the capabilities of autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
BYD Seal Battery and Driving Range
BYD Seal Battery: The international-spec version of the Seal is available with two battery pack options – 61.44kWh and 80.64kWh. These battery packs offer the Seal a driving range of up to 700 km on a single charge, making it an ideal choice for long-distance trips.
BYD Seal New Design and Colour Options
Design and Colour: The Seal gets several new features on the exterior design, including new colour options, redesigned alloy wheels, and a contrasting BYD logo. The interior design has also been improved – including a new four-spoke steering wheel, updated AC vents, and a revised dashboard layout, ensuring a modern and comfortable driving experience.
BYD Seal Price and Availability
BYD Price: The new version of the BYD Seal is expected to be available in India by 2025. However, there is no official information available about its price at present.
