Epstein Mossad connection: Debate has once again intensified at the international level regarding Jeffrey Epstein, who had already been convicted in sex crimes cases. This time, the focus of discussion is the allegation of whether Epstein had links with Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad, especially during the period when Ehud Barak was the country’s Prime Minister. However, current and former top Israeli officials have outright rejected these speculations.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was the first to publicly dismiss these claims. On the social media platform X, he said that contact between Epstein and Ehud Barak cannot lead to the conclusion that he was working for Israel. Netanyahu described it as “signals contrary to the facts” and also launched a political attack on Barak, alleging that he has long been trying to weaken the country’s democratic institutions.
Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also said in clear terms that Epstein had no connection with Mossad or Israel. He said that it can be stated with complete certainty that Epstein never worked for Mossad. In the same sequence, former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen also issued a statement saying that there was no link of any kind between Epstein and the intelligence agency.
Amid these statements, documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) have also given a new dimension to this debate. The department has made public more than 3 million pages of records related to Epstein. In the recently released batch of documents, the names of several influential personalities have emerged. These files include details of emails, financial transactions, and private contacts. However, in the material available so far, no such evidence has emerged that can prove that Epstein was an agent of Mossad.

Ehud Barak has acknowledged that he had meetings with Epstein. He has also expressed regret over this association. His office has said that the nature of these meetings was personal and did not involve any kind of illegal or improper activity. Barak said that during his visits to the United States, he sometimes attended dinners or meetings at Epstein’s residence in New York, but he did not see any misconduct there.
According to the documents, Barak and his wife Nava Barak once stayed at Epstein’s New York apartment, and some business introductions also took place through Epstein. However, these contacts have been described as limited to the personal sphere.
Based on the available official documents and the public statements of the Israeli leadership, so far no concrete evidence has emerged that establishes that Jeffrey Epstein had an institutional relationship with Mossad. At present, this matter appears to remain within the scope of political allegations and public speculation, for which independent and credible evidence has not yet come forward.
