Updates in the new S(O) Plus variant of Hyundai Venue.
The new mid-spec S(O) Plus variant has now been added to the variant list of Hyundai Venue. This variant includes new and additional features, such as a sunroof, and is priced at just Rs 12,000 higher than the old variant.
The S(O) Plus variant includes attractive features such as auto-LED headlights, LED DRLs at the front, and LED tail lights with connecting bar design. Apart from this, 15-inch steel wheels and body-coloured outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) are also provided in this variant, which further enhances its look and style.
Engine features of Hyundai Venue S(O) Plus variant
The S(O) Plus variant of Hyundai Venue comes with a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which offers 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Apart from this, other options are also available in this variant. Some variants get the option of a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo-petrol engine is available with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the diesel engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. All these engine options are available to meet different driving requirements.

Hyundai Venue features: The updated model of Hyundai Venue features a new off-white and black theme in the interiors, which gives it a premium look. It includes features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a semi-digital driver display, a single-pane sunroof, a height-adjustable driver seat, and manual AC.
In the field of safety, Hyundai Venue offers modern features like six airbags, a rear parking camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a hill start assist. All these features give this SUV a luxurious and safe driving experience.
Hyundai Venue S(O) Plus Price
After the recent update of Hyundai Venue, the price of its various variants has not been affected. Its ex-showroom price will still remain between Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.44 lakh. This sub-4 metre SUV will compete with major cars like the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
