Whenever top-tier mice are discussed in the world of technology and productivity, Logitech’s name is always among the first. Carrying this legacy forward, the company has now introduced the Logitech MX Master 4 — a premium wireless mouse that claims to elevate the experience of professionals and creative users to a new level.

This mouse has become a major talking point among professionals worldwide. It is now available on Amazon and at select offline stores.

Logitech MX Master 4: Innovation and Design

Logitech has designed the MX Master 4 around the concept of “precision in every click, control in every gesture.” Its new Haptic Sense Panel has emerged as the biggest game changer — users now receive subtle vibration feedback on the mouse’s touch-sensitive surface. This not only makes touch gestures feel more natural, but also proves useful for notification alerts, action triggers, and app-based shortcuts.

Along with this, the company has introduced another new feature — the “Actions Ring.” This feature works like a virtual circle on the screen, allowing users to instantly access app-specific shortcuts and commands using the cursor. Logitech claims this can save users up to 33% of their time, significantly boosting productivity.

Precision Sensor and Performance

The MX Master 4 comes equipped with a Darkfield High Precision Sensor, adjustable from 200 to 8000 DPI. Whether you are editing photos, creating 3D designs, or simply scrolling through documents, it delivers pixel-perfect response with every movement.

The mouse works seamlessly on almost any surface — even glass — highlighting the strength of its 8K tracking technology.

It also features Logitech’s patented MagSpeed Electromagnetic Scroll Wheel, capable of scrolling up to 1,000 lines per second. With SmartShift Technology, the scroll mode automatically adjusts based on the content — switching between pixel-precise control and fast, fluid scrolling when navigating complex documents or long websites.

Battery Life and Connectivity

Battery life is one of the most critical aspects of any professional device, and the MX Master 4 does not disappoint. It houses a 650mAh rechargeable battery, which delivers up to 70 days of usage on a single charge.

Charging is handled via a USB-C port, and the company claims that just 1 minute of quick charging provides up to 3 hours of use.

In terms of connectivity, the mouse supports Bluetooth 5.1 as well as the Logi Bolt receiver (USB-C based). It offers a wireless range of up to 10 meters and includes multi-device switching, allowing pairing with up to three devices and switching between them with the press of a button.

Operating Systems and Customization

The MX Master 4 has been developed as a true cross-platform device. It is compatible with Windows 11+, macOS 13+, Linux, and ChromeOS.

Logitech’s Logi Options+ app allows users to customize every button and gesture according to their workflow — whether it’s adjusting brush size in Photoshop or switching tabs in Excel.

The mouse features a total of 8 customizable buttons, including the new Gesture Button and Side Thumb Wheel. This setup delivers an excellent ergonomic experience, especially for right-handed users.

Global Launch and Pricing Comparison

Logitech first launched the MX Master 4 in Europe (Italy and Germany) on September 30, 2025. It then arrived in the US and UK markets in October, followed by Japan and other parts of Asia in December. As of today (December 2025), the device is available across all major global markets.

Looking at international pricing, the mouse is priced at $119.99 in the US (lowest $113.99), £119.99 in the UK, €123–149 in Germany, €110–129 in France, and around ¥19,900 in Japan. In comparison, the discounted Indian price (around ₹12,000) is not only lower than the global average but also stands out as an attractive deal.

India Launch and Price Update

In India, the MX Master 4 was launched on December 11, 2025, with an MRP of ₹15,995. However, within days of the launch, its price on Amazon India dropped to ₹11,995, marking the lowest offer available until December 15.

Several offline stores, including Computech, are offering it at an even lower price of ₹10,799, making it a strong value-for-money option for Indian professionals.

Additionally, buyers receive an exclusive 1-month free Adobe Creative Cloud plan, which includes Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro. In the Indian market, the mouse is currently available in Graphite and Pale Grey color variants, while the Space Black version is expected to arrive soon.

Upgrade from MX Master 3S: What’s New?

For existing users of the Logitech MX Master series, the differences between the 3S and the MX Master 4 are immediately noticeable.

The MX Master 4 offers improved soft-touch silicone side grips, a lighter and more balanced ergonomic weight of 150 grams, and most importantly, a haptic engine that makes every touch more expressive.

However, for gaming users, the 125Hz polling rate may feel slightly limiting. That said, this device is clearly designed with professional and creative workflows in mind.
