Maruti eVX 2025 launch: Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the production-ready version of its first electric SUV eVX. The car will be first showcased at the 2025 India Mobility Expo in Delhi. After this, it will be launched first in the European market and will also be made available in the Indian market in the first half of 2025.
eVX Features and Possible Technical Specifications
The eVX was first unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo and was followed by an updated version at the Japan Mobility Show in 2024. Now, the production-spec launch date of this electric SUV has been confirmed. The car will be offered in the mid-size electric SUV segment, which includes upcoming vehicles such as the Hyundai Creta EV, Honda Elevate EV, MG ZS EV and Tata Curve EV.
While Maruti hasn’t revealed the technical specifications of the eVX yet, it is expected to feature a 60kWh battery pack and a single electric motor that will power the front wheels. This powertrain is expected to offer a range of up to 550 km on a single charge.
Features and Design
The new eVX could feature features like split LED headlights, larger aluminium wheels, C-pillar-mounted rear door handles, electrically adjustable front seats, a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, 360-degree camera, floating centre console, and a rotary dial for drive modes.
