Maruti Fronx: After being successfully launched in India, Maruti Fronx is now ready to enter the domestic market of Japan. This new SUV manufactured at Maruti’s plant in Gujarat has been sent to Japan, where it has been specially prepared for the local market. After its great performance in India, there are high expectations about it in Japan as well.
The design and feature list of the Maruti Fronx to be launched in Japan will be similar to the Indian variant. However, some specific options will also be added to this car for the Japanese market. These include new technology and features, which have been designed according to the preferences of Japanese customers. It is designed to provide the best experience to local customers while meeting global standards.
The Maruti Fronx introduced for Japan will have a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which replaces the 1.2 and 1.0-litre turbo engines available in India. This engine generates 103bhp and 138Nm of torque and is available only with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. In contrast, the Frox in India is available with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options. In Japan, the car will be offered with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) options, suitable for different driving conditions.
