Paraguayan swimmer Luana: Paraguayan swimmer Luana Alonso reveals Neymar’s Instagram message amid Olympic Village controversy
Paraguay: Paraguayan young swimmer Luana Alonso recently made headlines over a controversy when she revealed an Instagram message sent by Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr. This news from Alonso has fueled speculation about her ouster from the Olympic Village.
Alonso, who was gearing up for participating in the Paris Olympics 2024, said in an interview with the radio show ‘Aire de Todos’ that Neymar had sent her a private message. However, Alonso refused to share more details of the message. She said, “Neymar sent me a DM. That’s all I can say. It was left on the request form.”
Meanwhile, several reports have emerged about Alonso’s expulsion from the Olympic Village, alleging that he was removed for creating an “inappropriate atmosphere”. Alonso responded to this by saying that he was never officially expelled and urged the public to stop spreading misinformation.
News related to Neymar’s health has also emerged in the sports world. Former Brazil captain Neymar has recently suffered a serious knee injury, which is likely to cause him to miss the start of the upcoming Saudi Pro League season. Al Hilal coach, Jorge Jesus, has indicated that Neymar’s injury could keep him out of the field for about 10 to 11 months. Despite this, Al Hilal recently won the Saudi Pro League title for a record 19th time. Neymar’s absence will also mean he will not be able to participate in the Copa America tournament next month.
Amid this development, Alonso’s condition and Neymar’s injury have further fuelled discussions in the sports world.
