Hero’s Destiny Prime is the most affordable 125cc scooter in India, priced at Rs 71,500 (ex-showroom) in Delhi. Hero has filed a patent for the updated design of the Destini and here are all the important details about it.
Hero Destini Design Changes
According to the patent, the design of the new Destini has completely changed at the rear and side. A new tail light and rear backrest can be seen at the rear of the scooter. The external fuel filler cap has also been introduced with a new design. Along with the new design of the side, clean lines and new colour options can also be seen.
Hero Destini Possible Mechanical Changes
The current Destini is powered by a 124.6cc air-cooled engine that produces 9hp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5,500rpm. It has telescopic forks at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. Whether the new Destini will feature engine or other mechanical changes will be clear at the time of launch.
Hero Destini Competition
Currently, the Hero Destini Prime is priced at Rs 71,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the Destini XTEC is priced at Rs 86,538 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Upon launch, the new Destini will challenge competing scooters like the Suzuki Access 125 and TVS Jupiter 125, which are set for an update later this month.
