Project Delta: Royal Enfield has revived its glorious biking heritage, and this time it has come up with a unique custom bike called “Project Delta”. The bike is based on Royal Enfield’s Super Meteor 650, but its design and technical changes turn it into a full-fledged vintage bobber. Built in 2025, the bike comes out as a mechanical masterpiece that harks back to the mid-20th Century Royal Enfield models and their rich history.
Chassis and Frame Improvements:
The frame in Project Delta has been completely customized. The stock frame of the Super Meteor has been modified to accommodate a mono-shock suspension, giving it better handling and performance. The bike features an oil-in-frame cooling system instead of a conventional radiator, which not only improves the bike’s performance but also gives it a vintage look. Additionally, the bike uses a thin backbone and custom gussets, making it look similar to the classic 1950s design, but with modern technological improvements.
Suspension and Wheels:
This custom bike from Royal Enfield is equipped with hand-built Girder forks, which also have an adjustable downhill air shock, which gives the bike a unique look and a comfortable riding experience. The rear suspension is handled by a custom swingarm and Nitron mono-shock, which makes it different from the twin shock absorbers of the stock Super Meteor 650. The bike rides on 23-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels, which come with vintage patterned tyres and hand-laced rims, which make its vintage look even more attractive.

Aesthetic Changes:
The bike’s fuel tank is handcrafted and inspired by Royal Enfield’s 1950s design. It uses a floating-bobber-style seat, which is covered in cherry red leather. The design of this seat matches perfectly with the tank-shifter handle and leather grips. The bike’s base colour is black, which is adorned with gold-leaf pinstripes and cherry red highlights, giving it a classic and attractive look. Apart from this, the bike also has a vintage Royal Enfield insignia, which shows its historical significance.
Other Features:
Project Delta also has several custom features, such as hand-shifted gears, stainless steel headers, and fishtail mufflers, which make this bike a unique and powerful machine. Its engine is the same 648cc parallel-twin engine that produces 47 horsepower and 52 Nm of peak torque, making the bike capable of accelerating quickly and delivering great performance.
