Discussions around Samsung’s next flagship smartphone series have intensified. Based on media reports and claims by well-known tipsters, it is being said that the company may hold its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on February 25. This event is expected to take place in San Francisco, United States.
Although Samsung has not yet released any official invite, continuous leaks suggest that the Galaxy S26 series could be unveiled from this stage. In India, the event can be watched live around 11:30 PM. The company may stream it on its YouTube channel, website, and newsroom platform.
Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus: Focus on display and performance
According to reports, the Galaxy S26 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is being said that the phone may come with the new Exynos 2600 processor, based on 2nm technology. This could offer better performance and improved battery efficiency.
At the same time, the Galaxy S26 Plus may get a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The same Exynos 2600 chipset is also expected in this model, which means the performance of both devices could remain almost similar.
Galaxy S26 Ultra: The most premium and powerful model
The most premium phone in the series is considered to be the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to leaks, it may feature a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. For performance, it is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
Apart from this, a new Privacy Display technology may also be introduced in the Ultra model. It is said that this feature will blur the screen content when viewed from side angles, helping protect user privacy more effectively. In the initial phase, this feature may remain limited only to the Ultra variant.
Expected prices and other launches
As per leaked information, the starting price of the Galaxy S26 in India could be around Rs 82,999. The Galaxy S26 Plus may be priced at around Rs 99,999, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra could launch with a starting price of about Rs 1,34,999.
