Skoda Kylaq: Skoda Auto India has recently announced the name of its upcoming sub-four meter SUV as ‘Kylaq’. The SUV will be based on the MQB-A0-IN platform and many of its key features have been confirmed. New spy shots have revealed that the Kylaq will get a single-pane electric sunroof.

Kylaq entering the competitive segment in India: The Kylaq will compete with popular SUVs like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Brezza in India. Its design will include roof rails, shark-fin antenna, tilted C-pillars, and tailgate-mounted number plate holder. Spy shots have also revealed that the new SUV will have a split headlight design, new LED DRLs, and inverted L-shaped LED taillights.
Engine and performance
Kylaq engine and performance: The Kylaq, which is based on the base platform for the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq, will be available only with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI petrol engine. This engine will generate 114bhp of power and 178Nm of torque. The engine will be sent to the front wheels through a six-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission.
