The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 has carved a niche among modern classic bikes since its launch in 2019. The model has been seen as a sporty and high-spec variant in Triumph’s Modern Classic range. The RS variant will be powered by a 1,200cc parallel-twin engine, which could be similar to the engine on the Thruxton. This engine is rated to generate up to 105hp of power, making it even more powerful and sporty.

The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 will compete primarily with neo-retro sporty bikes. After the discontinuation of the Thruxton, Triumph did not have a flagship sporty model, and this new variant is trying to fill that void.
