Audi Q5 new generation: Audi has introduced its third-generation Audi Q5, which is based on the new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC). The new Audi Q5 comes with 48V mild-hybrid technology as standard across all engine options, making it even more impressive.

• Audi Q5 launch date India: The new Audi Q5 will be available in Europe by the end of this month and deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2025 in other countries of Europe. Its possible launch in India is seen for next year, but Audi India has not yet released any official timeline.

Audi Q5 features: The new Q5 includes the Audi MMI panoramic display, 11.9-inch digital driver display and 14.5-inch touchscreen. An optional 10.9-inch display is also available for the front passenger. Apart from this, a new three-spoke steering wheel is also available.

Audi Q5 engine: The new Q5 has three powertrain options

• 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine (204hp and 340Nm)
• 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine (204hp and 400Nm)
• The range-topping SQ5 gets a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine (367hp and 550Nm)

All engines come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a 48V mild-hybrid system.

Audi Q5 price: In Europe, the new Audi Q5 price starts at €52,300 (approx. ₹48.59 lakh) for the base petrol variant, €57,100 (approx. ₹53.05 lakh) for the diesel variant and €82,900 (approx. ₹77.02 lakh) for the SQ5. Prices in India could range between ₹ 64.51 lakh and ₹ 74.30 lakh, and the expected price and variants of the new-gen Q5 will be announced at the time of launch.

The new Audi Q5 will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60, which are key rivals in the segment.
