Hyundai has launched its new Hyundai Aura E CNG at an attractive price of Rs 7.49 lakh. It has become the cheapest CNG variant of the sedan and is now available in three different variants – E, S and SX. With this new offering, Hyundai has given a new direction to the CNG sedan market.

The Hyundai Aura E CNG includes modern and attractive features, but it lacks the dual-cylinder setup, which is available in the Grand i10 Nios CNG and Exter CNG. Despite this, it is the cheapest offering of the CNG sedan.
Hyundai Aura E CNG engine options
The Hyundai Aura E CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine. In CNG mode, this engine generates 69hp of power and 95Nm of torque, while in petrol mode its power is 83hp and torque is 114Nm. It is available only with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The new Hyundai Aura E CNG includes modern technology and safety features, although it lacks a dual-cylinder setup. A 5-speed AMT transmission option is also available in its petrol variants, which makes driving even more smooth.

The Hyundai Aura E CNG competes with the Tata Tigor CNG (Rs 7.75 lakh-9.95 lakh) and Maruti Dzire CNG (Rs 8.44 lakh-9.12 lakh). Its petrol variant also competes with the Honda Amaze, and its petrol variants are priced between Rs 6.49 lakh and 9.05 lakh.
