Amidst the rising demand for electric vehicles in the Indian automobile market, Tata Motors has officially launched its much-awaited Tata Harrier EV. This electric SUV is ready to revolutionise Indian roads with its impressive 627 km range, lifetime battery warranty, and competitive pricing. With this model, Tata Motors has not only showcased cutting-edge innovation but also taken a significant step towards powerful and eco-friendly mobility.
Grand Launch of Tata Harrier EV
Tata Motors unveiled the Tata Harrier EV on 3 June 2025 at a grand event in New Delhi. The highlight of the event was the dramatic arrival of a matte black Harrier EV that drove onto the stage without a driver. This showcased Tata’s new remote parking system, placing the SUV far ahead of its competitors in terms of technology. This feature stunned the audience and proved that Tata Motors is setting new benchmarks in the electric SUV segment.
The Harrier EV was first introduced as a concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January 2025. Now, its production-ready version is available in the market, with an ex-showroom starting price of ₹21.49 lakh. Bookings will begin from 2 July 2025. Tata is offering a lifetime battery warranty on this EV—an unprecedented move in the Indian market.
Tata Harrier EV Modern Design
The Tata Harrier EV takes inspiration from its ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) sibling but features many EV-specific enhancements. A closed front grille, aero-optimised dual-tone alloy wheels, and distinctive ‘.EV’ badging lend it a premium and modern look. This electric SUV will be available in four colours:
- Nainital Nocturne
- Empowered Oxide
- Pure Grey
- Pristine White
Tata has also introduced a Stealth Edition with this model, featuring a matte black finish, dual-tone alloys, and an all-black interior—enhancing its aggressive and bold appeal.
Interior: A Perfect Blend of Luxury and Technology
The interior of the Tata Harrier EV rivals that of any premium electric SUV. With a grey and white theme, the cabin exudes sophistication and high-tech appeal. Key interior highlights include:

The charging capabilities are equally impressive. With a 120 kW fast charger, the SUV can charge from 0 to 80% in just 25 minutes. Tata claims that a 15-minute charge can deliver 250 km of range, making it ideal for long-distance travel.
